March 2014 – Doc’s Group Therapy Comedy Broadcast / Podcast (Nasty Neighbors) streamed live on (http://www.MixLR.com/docs-group-therapy) and recorded from a trailer inside at WT Bubba’s (www.WTBubbas.com), Little Rock, Arkansas – March 29th.  We talked about Nasty, Stupid and other BAD kind of Neighbors and boy did we.   The entire thing was hilarious and all the while, people were sucking heads… Crawfish heads that is.  People stopped by to share stories including Tanya Smith (KARN 102.9), Mike Kennedy (The Point 94.1), Jack Womack (Crazy Land) and others.  Our old buddy Blake Woodson aka Tartar Sauce / Pan Fish was also in the house.  Yes we really did the entire show inside a trailer and have the photos to prove it.   Although there wasn’t room for our challenges, the event was quite shocking all the same.  I have to admit, at one point during the Un-Doc-Umented News, I was laughing so hard I couldn’t talk, which you will hear on the podcast.  I LOVE THIS SHOW!  As always, we were asked if we are coming back and so we shall.   We so appreciate WT Bubba’s for hosting our show at their AWESOME venue!

The panel included host Michael ‘Doc’ Davis, his awesome geeky co-host Grant Morris, bored-board man Luke Rowlan, Lauren Faehl, Christy Davis, Jill Rowlan, WT Bubba’s Staff, Mike Kennedy, Tanya Smith, Jack Womack and whoever else needed a little therapy.  Our photographer was the awesome nurse Jill Rowlan (www.JillRowlanPhotography.com) supported by Christy Davis (www.LetsGoPromo.com).

The Podcast release will be April 1st on www.DocsGroupTherapy.com, LIVE on MixLR.com, iTunes, www.MichaelDocDavis.com, www.SoundCloud.com, YouTube, Facebook and soon to be on UStream and more…

Doc's Group TherapyNovember 30th was the Doc’s Group Therapy Comedy Broadcast / Podcast (Holiday Hamming) broadcast live (http://www.MixLR.com/docs-group-therapy) and recording in Little Rock, Arkansas at Stone’s Throw Brewery in Little Rock, Arkansas.   What an awesome gem of our great state of Arkansas!  Stone’s Throw Brewery is an amazing up and coming brewery right in Little Rock.  It has a wonderful atmosphere for trying out brews and even eating some locally made snacks.  Ian Beard was very welcoming and knowledgeable about nearly everything we talked about.  If you get a chance to go to Stone’s Throw just ask for Ian and he will be your brew master.  We all talked about holiday craziness involving family, friends, and commercialism, crazy crap that has happened to us and how it made us feel.  Of course I was the first person to be shocked of three.  Guess who got shocked this time…  Jill our very first girl got zapped and we have pictures to prove it.  We also had a blast talking crap about news across the world from Un-Doc-Umented News.   More therapy and laughs to come on the next Doc’s Group Therapy in January 2014.

The panel included host Michael ‘Doc’ Davis, his awesome geeky co-host Grant Morris, bored-board man Luke Rowlan, Ian Beard (Brew Master and an owner of Stone’s Throw Brewery), Comedian Hunter Hatcher, and Jill Rowlan with the crowd listening in.  Our regular photographer, Jill Rowlan (www.Facebook.com/PicsByJill) kicked butt on photos from the event.

The Podcast release is November 3rd on www.DocsGroupTherapy.com, LIVE on MixLR.com, iTunes, www.MichaelDocDavis.com, www.SoundCloud.com, YouTube, Facebook, and more…

October 26th was the Doc’s Group Therapy Comedy Broadcast / Podcast (Scary an Stuff) broadcast live (http://www.MixLR.com/docs-group-therapy) and recording in Cabot Arkansas during a 80’s Theme / Star Wars 40th Birthday Party.   With Elvis running around and singing in the background, we talked about stuff that scared us from movies as kids or adults to scary events and people.  I have to admit this was one of the funniest and cleanest shows we have had yet… WHAT!  There was even a birthday spanking for Scott Romine for his 1 millionth birthday.  We also had a blast talking crap about news across the world from Un-Doc-Umented News.   DGT even made Diamond Bear’s Two Term beer on tap.  We enjoyed cigars in the back while folks were screaming during a hay ride being chased by a dude chasing them wearing a gilly suit in the dark!  More therapy and laughs to come on the next Doc’s Group Therapy in Doctober.

The panel included host Michael ‘Doc’ Davis, his awesome geeky co-host Grant Morris, bored-board man Luke Rowlan, Scott Romine, Jill Rowlan, and little Lauren Faehl and Christy Davis’ish.  Our regular photographer, Jill Rowlan (www.Facebook.com/PicsByJill) kicked butt on photos from the event as always with a few shots from Christy too.  Very special thanks to the Romine’s for having Doc’s Group Therapy at their home and gun range in Cabot, Arkansas.

Doc's Group TherapySaturday July 27th was Doc’s Group Therapy Comedy Broadcast / Podcast (Smoke’n with Stupid) broadcast live (http://www.MixLR.com/docs-group-therapy) and recorded at The Pipe and Tobacco Shop (www.PipeAndTobaccoShop.com), Little Rock.  We talked stupid stuff and stupid people.   The difference between this show and other is that there were therapy challenges from aluminum chewing challenges to electroshock on the hands and / or nipples.  We were totally cracking up every time someone got shocked, especially at Ben Malone and his nipple cooking.  Greg of the Pipe and Tobacco had to do a social therapy challenge and whisper sweet nothings to Luke along the lines of him being sexy.  We think that Luke may have been enjoying making people suffer a little too much by calling out challenges!  Maduro the cat got into the action comforting those being electrocuted and keeping feet warm.  Maduro is simply a huge 19 pound fat, fluffy, loveable cat.  Mention Doc’s Group Therapy and you will get special deals at The Pipe and Tobacco Shop.  On Doc’s Group Therapy, you now have to have a safe word.  More therapy and laughs to come on the next Doc’s Group Therapy in August.

The panel included host Michael ‘Doc’ Davis, his awesome geeky co-host Grant Morris, bored-board man Luke Rowlan, Greg from the Pipe and Tobacco Shop, Nathan Angel, comedians Ben Malone (www.Facebook.com/Ben.Malone.397), and Regan Dalby (www.Facebook.com/Reagan.Dalby).  Our photographer is the one and only Nurse Jill Rowlan (www.Facebook.com/PicsByJill, which ALWAYS does AWESOME.  A special thanks to Doc’s fiancé Christy Sheets, Grant’s girl Lauren Faehl, Nathan’s wife Cheryl Angel aka ‘Womern’ for supporting the show.  Very special thanks to Cindy and Greg for making Pipe and Tobacco a new sponsor and allowing us to have fun at their business.

John Melton, Bonz, Andy Applegate, Ken Haycook, among others were very welcoming to the Diamond Bear Brewery (www.DiamondBear.com)!  We were glad to see that our show was able to help pack out the tour and tastings.  It was packed to the point some folks even had to be turned away, but they will be coming back.  We appreciate the Diamond Bear Brewery for having us at their incredible place.

Tours and Tasting are at 3PM on Sunday’s and Saturdays.  This brewery really does have some incredible beers and they have been around since 1999.  I was asked what my favorite was and I replied, “The one on tap or in a bottle!”  This is a great place, with great people and great beer including root beer.  We all look forward to going back.  It’s a must visit and revisit location.  You better do it soon because they will be moving to a new location.  When you go, please tell them Doc or Doc’s Group Therapy sent you.
